Pomona 50

The Bertuzzi Compact Multi-functional Bench model Pomona 50 is the ultimate solution for small production of jams, comfitures and sauces.

General Information

The Compact Multi-functional Bench model Pomona 50, a very efficient integrated group useful for the preparation of jams, comfitures, sauces, will treat the pulp/puree in three sections and suitable for the operations of:

• mixing/cooking/evaporation under vacuum at approx. 65°C;
• dosing in glass jars, PET bottle or other suitable containers;
• pasteurization of closed glass jars and containers.

Technical Information

The Compact Multi-functional bench model Pomona 50 is composed by three sections and suitable for the operations of cooking, dosing and pasteurization of glass jars and other containers. the three operations/sections, compacted in a single unit, are:

• The first section is composed by a cooking pan with 50 liters capacity for fruits and vegetables cooking, the system works under vacuum, at the processing temperature of 65°C approx. and it is complete of stirrer to keep in agitation the product. Cooker heating is realized by a double jacket with steam circulation, steam is produced by an electrical generator included in the frame of the bench.
• The second section is composed by a volumetric dosing unit which takes the product directly from the cooking basin and dose it using a proper anti-drop valve.
• The third section is composed by a pasteurization tank for the previously closed containers. The tank has 240 liters capacity and is equipped with one basket, which can be extracted by means of a manual crane. The water inlet into the pasteurization tank is heated always by steam flowing in a serpentine placed on the bottom of the tank and is designed to operate contemporary with the cooking pan.
• The Pomona 50 is equipped with electrical control box complete with PLC to automatically control all the operations.
