Structure

With the aim of optimizing the synergies between the different subsidiaries in the group (ZUCCHELLI FORNI, GDM and IVAR INDUSTRY) and the need for more space, in 1997 the Zucchelli Group moved to its present location in Trevenzuolo (VR).

The property is spread over an area of about 100,000 square metres, of which 50,000 square meters is covered.

The introduction of new 3-D design software, the installation of machinery for optical fibre laser cutting and for cutting profiled tubes and the use of automatic bending machines, has allowed us to improve the quality of our product and greatly reduce production times.

The department in charge of cutting and bending sheet metal is one of the best equipped and is at the forefront of the industry, with latest-generation equipment, including:

5 x laser cutting machines, including an optical fibre one
2 x tube laser machines
1 x plasma cutting machine
2 x panelling machines
1 x bending robot
10 x bending machines for different sizes and uses
2 x automatic work centres
The professionalism and commitment of our staff of over 100 people completes and perfects the production cycle.

We care about the environment, energy conservation and technological innovation and in 2011 a 1 megawatt photovoltaic system was installed to optimise the operation of the many pieces of high-tech machinery in the production departments.

History

It was in 1965, the year that SOVER s.r.l. was founded, that Paolino Franco Zucchelli along with his brothers Corrado and Francesco, produced their first cyclothermic deck oven.

It would be the first in a long line of successes brought about by the Zucchelli brothers' skill, creativity and passion for the work.

In 1971, they were among the first in Italy to start producing rotary convection ovens.

In 1976, they established ZUCCHELLI OVENS S.p.A., where the brothers were the only shareholders, and what was a small workshop, soon became an industry leader in Europe and worldwide.

By the 80s, they became the first manufacturer in Italy of small rotary ovens such as the Minicombo 8 trays and Baby ovens, the smallest rotary ovens with a removable cart.

The 30,000 Rotor ovens sold from the 80s to date attest the high quality and reliability of Zucchelli ovens.

With the purchase of GDM-IRIS in 1986 and later in 1992 of IVAR Caldaie, the ZUCCHELLI GROUP was born. In 1997, the need for expansion meant moving to its current production site in Trevenzuolo (VR).

With the most complete range on the market of rotary ovens, the electrical modular ovens for baking and pastry-making and the traditional but high-tech electrical and cyclothermic fixed deck ovens, ZUCCHELLI FORNI S.p.A. has become a world-renown benchmark in the art of baking and pastry-making.

Distribution

Thanks to an extensive network of representatives and distributors formed over its 40 years of experience, ZUCCHELLI FORNI S.p.A. supplies its products to all major markets in Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Americas.

Exports make up about 70% of its turnover, through its worldwide operations, either directly or through dealers.
