History
In 1923, Mr. J.E. Nauta founded the company Nautamix in Haarlem. This was the birth of today's globally active Hosokawa Micron B.V. From the very beginning, our history has been characterised by innovative drive. We have compiled the highlights from over 90 years in our archives.

1939 | Mr. Nauta invents the conical (batch) mixing principle and produces his first mixing machines, later the company was renamed Nautamix. |
1954 | Schuurmans & Van Ginneken erects Schugi as an independent company for machinery. |
1965 | Nautamix in Haarlem erects a manufacturing facility in Assen. |
1968 | Hosokawa Micron Japan first relation with Nautamix for selling mixers in Japan. |
1982 | Hosokawa Micron in Japan acquires Nautamix Haarlem and Assen. |

1987 | Bepex USA acquires Schugi. |
