From weight-accurate slicing to the precise infeeding and packaging of sausage, meat and cheese: Weber Maschinenbau is one of the leading system providers for sliced products and one of the most important partners for the food processing industry. The portfolio is versatile and offers perfect solutions for all requirements and application areas.
Weber has constantly been setting new standards since 1981 with innovative power and know-how – with powerful and efficient solutions that are characterized by precise results, high product yields and minimal give-away. The company has its origins in the production of derinding and skinning machines, which are still an integral part of the product portfolio. Customers all over the world today have access to a broad range of machines as well as line and automation solutions – for craft or industry in every class.
In 2011, the subsidiary Textor Maschinenbau was founded in Wolfertschwenden (Allgäu). "Smart & Easy" are the slicers and line components that Textor manufactures and which primarily cover the requirements of more compact classes. Textor solutions are characterized by clever ideas, open design and easy cleaning.
Due to the merger with a renowned packaging machine manufacturer, thermoformers have been added to the portfolio of the Weber Group since 2017. Weber is now able to offer integrated and highly automated system solutions, from slicing to packaging of cold cuts, all from a single source.
Following the majority shareholding since 2015, Wente/Thiedig GmbH was fully integrated into the Weber Group in 2021. The Braunschweig-based company develops camera and image processing systems that are used, for example, in the optical scales and scanners of the slicers. The integration into the Weber portfolio strengthens the potential for further innovations in the field of scanning technology.
For even greater customer proximity, rapid availability and personal service, Weber is steadily advancing its international presence. Round about 1,500 employees at 23 locations in 18 nations are employed at Weber Maschinenbau today and it is their commitment and passion that contributes to the overall success of the Weber Group every day. From the beginning, the company has been family-owned and is today led by CEO Tobias Weber, the eldest son of the company’s founder Günther Weber.
