About Seller
Mr. Horst Hempe founded H&S – Mechanische Fertigung GmbH as a pure turning shop in 1974. Milling and spark erosion followed as customer expectations grew. In parallel, Mr. Horst Hempe founded Hempe Zerspantechnik GmbH in 1984, which is a modern company that specializes in contract manufacturing in the machining sector.
Of course, Hempe Zerspantechnik GmbH has already been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1997 as well as according to the Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001 since 2002.
Since 2005, after decades of experience as a contract manufacturer at the highest level in the automobile industry, chemical industry, pipeline equipment, etc., Hempe Zerspantechnik GmbH now also manufactures and develops parts and cutting systems for the leading machine and equipment manufacturers in the food industry.
The experience gained from the design, manufacturing as well as in the direct application of our cutting systems has catapulted Hempe to a reliable partner for industry.
Since 2007 H&S, now as a subsidiary of Hempe Zerspantechnik GmbH, has been successfully marketing its high-performance cutting systems, developed and patented together with Hempe Zerspantechnik, directly to the food industry.
In the middle of 2009 Hempe Zerspantechnik and H&S began constructing a fine-crushing system to close a market niche in the industry and its diverse application requirements.
At the beginning of 2010, we were able to present the first H&S ultra-fine grinder with its new patented cutting system, and will continue to expand this sector. Due to the background of our high-capacity company Hempe in the divisions of manufacturing, development and construction, and the experiences gained in the implementation of individual applications from industry, we can offer new solutions with our crushing units.
At the end of 2012, Hempe Zerspantechnik GmbH was renamed Hempe GmbH and received a new company logo.
Hempe GmbH took over all marketing activities of the H&S GmbH from January 1, 2013. Thus, the divisions of contract manufacturing for industry and the production and marketing of products in the divisions of the food industry are now united under the new logo of Hempe GmbH.
