How it all began
Grasselli was founded in 1974 thanks to the intuition of Giorgio Grasselli. That year marked the production of the first skinning machine. After only a few months, the company was already operating at international level.
The nineties
In 1993, Grasselli opened a new production line and launched its first industrial meat slicer. The first models already offered high performance levels in the industry.
The new millennium
The new millennium marked the beginning of success in Europe and the United States. The company focused its efforts on two product lines (meat slicers and derinders), in the firm belief that our work lies in the design, construction and distribution at international level of cutting-edge, safe and high-performance cutting solutions.
Towards the future
The Grasselli products range grew considerably to include a rich variety of solutions for the cutting, portioning and derinding of meats, studied and created to meet the highest demands and quality requirements in the food industry.

We are the only company in the sector boasting decades of experience in internationally patented safety systems for our machines, such as the CLO safety system, the only two wireless systems on the market with the capacity to cut out any accident risks and bring performance to the highest levels.

All the machines in the Grasselli range of systems for cutting, portioning and derinding meat are designed and built in-house in compliance with the strictest industrial standards. The selected materials used meet the latest requirements for maintenance, reducing repair costs and the risk of down-time.
Research
Looking towards the future is the very essence of our corporate culture. We developed 20 prototypes in the last 5 years and have over 25 active patents worldwide, dozens of cutting-edge machine models and a customer service aiming at problem-solving.
