Colloid mills are a type of machine used in the food industry. They ensure ultrafine grinding of products.They are appropriate for both dry products and products containing moisture. In these mills, cereals can be milled together with their bran, and thus the resulting flour preserves its whole-grain properties. At the same time, products baked from such flour will be ample and soft. In the meat-packing industry, colloid mills are used for obtaining a homogeneous mass from meat and byproducts for making pâtés and sausages. They are also used for producing ice cream, jam, homogeneous sausages, etc.
