For over 100 years, Hänsel Processing has been developing, producing and installing sophisticated lines and machines for the individual manufacturing of confectioneries of the highest quality.

Our lines and machines are used to produce sophisticated hard candies, masses for depositing, aerated masses, toffees, fondants and fruit gummies - which are enjoyed by connoisseurs all over the world.

As the leading full-service provider we are standing for the process expertise “Made in Germany“ and accompany our customers in the confectionery industry from the idea to the finished taste experience, and from product development to plant construction and commissioning.

We are equipped with an outstanding, internationally operating customer service, consisting of highly skilled service technicians. With our local partners, we are implementing maximal machine availability and are supporting our clients in the confectionery manufacturing in every step, from product design and process optimization to preventative maintenance and many more.

Ranging from:

  • A simple batch cooker, such as the popular UNIBATCH, to our fondant systems and bar lines as the SIEDOMAT / TURBOMIX, to the popular and fully integrated hard candy cooking machine SUCROLINER, a processing system for all the confectionery masses that are in demand.
  • To dosing devices for colours, flavours and acids (JELLYBLEND), to facilities for the manufacturing of aerated and clear products, to toffee and chewy candy lines with our frequently requested machines ROTAMAT or JELLYSTAR.
  • We are also supplying tailored micro-lines for smallest quantities of confectionery.

  • Besides, our laboratory machines can produce special, unfilled, filled, aerated, laminated, sugar-free and medical candies.

Hanover-based Hänsel Processing GmbH with almost 150 employees has been developing, producing and installing multifunctional production facilities for the confectionery industry for more than 100 years.

As guiding principle "sweet competence", the company not only conducts its own research and product development as a full-service provider, but is also a globally recognized inovator for the confectionery industry with its deep processing knowledge.

The company maintains an international customer service, with highly qualified service technicians who are committed to the demand of maximum machine availability and preventive maintenance.

By belonging to the POSSEHL Group, Lübeck, Hänsel Processing has a solid base and a powerful network of industrial service providers since 2018. As a leading investor in the field of German-speaking SMEs, future-oriented technology approaches are being tested with the help of the own incubator PMB and new business areas are being developed.

The roots of Hänsel Processing go back to the traditional company Otto Hänsel, which was founded in 1911 and, as one of the pioneers of German packaging machine construction, was based in Dresden-Freital from 1919.
An Otto Hänsel Foundation is still existing today at the Technical University of Dresden, whose aim is research and teaching in the field of processing machines and packaging technology.
In 1948, the "Hänsel-Junior-Spezialmaschinenfabrik" was founded in Hanover and in 1952, the company moved into its present production halls and offices on Lister Damm as Hänsel Processing GmbH.
