Separators are a type of equipment used in the food industry. They serve to divide products into fractions. They are used to separate impurities out of liquids and oils and to separate fats from liquid media. They are widely used in the making of dairy products for separating out the cream,  purifying milk and dividing it into a fat percentage, separating curds from the whey, making butter, etc. They allow you to clarify juices,  vinegar, beer,  and wine by ridding them of particles in suspension. In meat-processing plants, these machines are used to extract fat masses from broths.
