In the field of closed circuit cooling towers, Decsa has designed the REF-A series, an evaporative tower equipped with axial fans designed to meet all plant applications where high efficiency and low operating cost closed circuit evaporative towers are required.

Made of hot-dip galvanised Z-725 sheet steel, the REF-A series is designed for water cooling without contamination with the atmosphere and is best integrated in installations where quietness andreliability are a key point in the selection of equipment. Just as with the TMA-EU open circuit cooling tower, the latest generation of axial fans used by Decsa for these closed circuit cooling towers allow the optimisation of the L/G ratio within the units allowing a decrease in the power input and a reduction in operating costs.

The REF-A series is manufactured in accordance with the quality standards of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality System and is also designed in accordance with the Decsa standard to guarantee the pressure tightness of the installed coils up to 25 bar authorising their use at operating pressures up to 7 bar. The coils contained in the section are made of electro-welded pipes of first quality EN ISO 10305-3 grade E235 and subjected to an immersion galvanisation process according to EN ISO 1461.
