Our systems can be used in various fields – the Eco ice system technology offers significant advantages everywhere driving heat is available and cooling is required.
The drive of an absorption refrigerator is done with heat (80 – 98°C), which can be provided as follows: process heat, often waste heat from a CHP, solar thermal, district heat or heat provided, for example, via biogas.

The absorption refrigerator process requires heat emission to the environment. Further economic benefits can be achieved, including when waste heat (20 – 30°C) can be used. Examples: Building heating, ice prevention from roads and parking lots, sub-freezing of frozen storage areas, hot water.

With the Eco ice absorption refrigerator, temperatures can be provided below 0°C, as well as typical climate applications. This is often used in connection with a CHP to generate additional power and achieve trigeneration.
