Specialized Production Line for Cutting of Cheese with Fixed Weight

The machine is designated for cutting of rectangular blocks cheese and brined cheese into pieces with fixed weight. The production line is module one and consists of Machine for cutting in fixed weight and checkweigher with rejecter.

The rectangular block is placed on conveyor belt with scale. After measuring its weight the block is transported to the cutting guillotine. During movement the shape and dimensions of the block are measured by laser scanners. Taking the results of the scanners, microprocessor calculates the thickness of each slice, which should be cut from the guillotine. After the cutting each slice falls to a checkweigher and if there is deviation from the specified weight, it’s removed by a rejecter.

The machine for cutting consists of conveyor; scale with polyurethane belt (manual and automatic scale reset); conveyor for positioning of the blocks with polyurethane belt; 3d scanning with laser sensors; cutting mechanism with teflonized guillotine blade, driven by servo motor, unit for holding the block during cutting and outgoing conveyor.

From the outgoing conveyor the slices are transported to checkweigher with rejecter. This part consists of three conveyors and the weighing is dynamic (manual and automatic scale reset).

The control unit is Delta with touch screen with software, specially programmed for the machine, illustrating the process, saving and launching of programs.

The machine is made of stainless steel AISI 316 and the construction is designed for easy cleaning.
