Higher shear rates in our mill result in finer droplets. Colloid mills are often used to improve the stability of slurries and mixed emulsions, but can also be used to reduce the size of solid particles in creams and pastes. The NKM mill is the right solution for the continuous grinding of solid matter into a viscous, semi-solid consistency without preliminary grinding.
