Centrifuge

Centrifuges are a type of equipment used in the food industry. They perform such processes as washing, drying, cleaning, and sorting of food products, and also separating heterogeneous liquids in various industries. In the field of confectionary they are used to make hollow chocolate products. In the dairy industry, they are used to separate cream out of milk, to dehydrate cheese masses, or to separate out whey. When the sugar from sugar beets is processed, centrifuges are used to purify the sugar stock. When working with products of plant origin, centrifuge machines help remove moisture from the surface of fruits and vegetables, separate out fibers, and dehydrate them for the making of starches and proteins.
