This is a tank used for the intermediate storage of liquid foods under sterile conditions in order to maintain product security conditions and product quality as well as contribute to total line flexibility. The “clean” storage tank  is used in many ways to simplify production and production planning, primarily by acting as a buffer to balance product supply and demand between aseptic processing and packaging. It prevents the re-processing of juice based products from caramelisation, Maillard reaction etc..
