Kaj Aasted invents the world’s first patented continuous chocolate plate temperer.   1950 World’s largest chocolate moulding line is created with a 1000 mm belt width.   1987 Aasted acquires Mikroverk, and the company Aasted-Mikroverk is founded.   1992 FrozenCone, world’s first patented cold pressing method producing perfect edged chocolate articles is invented.   2003 Aasted-Mikroverk initiates the production of machinery to the bakery industry.   2004 The Alice™ invented, an innovative extruder and depositor for the bakery and confectionery industry.   2009 Aasted-Mikroverk acquires Danish Food Technology producing bakery ovens.   2010 Aasted-Mikroverk and A.E. Nielsen merge and mark a new era of the company named Aasted.   2011 Aasted goes green with a revolutionary patented energy saving tempering machine, the SuperNova Energy.   2013 Aasted introduces the patented Energy Enrober increasing the energy saving machinery assortment.   2016 The SuperNova Orbit is introduced. Next generation aeration and crystallization unit.   2016 Piet Tæstensen becomes Managing Director.   2017 We are celebrating our 100 year anniversary by releasing several new machines and this website!   2017 Aasted strategically decides to pursue the bakery market. Now providing complete solutions for chocolate, confectionery and bakery industries.   2019 A North American office is opened. The new location serves as an office, place for spare parts, local service department and is dealing with all of North America sales.   2019 A revolution in tempering!
