With some 140 employees at its Verden facility in Germany, VEMAG ANLAGENBAU creates individual, customized, state-of-the-art system solutions. We achieve it by using extremely innovative, qualified and motivated staff and a high-performance, quality-orientated supply chain.  HISTORY 1944 Holz- und Gerätebaugesellschaft mbH set up in Verden, producing a mix of products (clocks for church towers, ovens, honey extractors etc.) 1950 Company name changed to VEMAG Verdener Maschinen- und Apparatebau Gmbh, focus on filling machines for meat-processors 1964 Development and sale of the first combined hot-smoking and cooking installation 1979 Construction of the company’s own production facility for smoking installations 1983 Development and sale of the first continuous installation 1984 Development and sale of the first Thermo-Compound-Installation (combination of hot-smoking and intensive chilling installation) 1992 Takeover and integration of ALPAS to enable us to add cold-smoking installations to the product range 1995 Takeover of BEGARAT as a sales and service company for the CIS-countries 1998 Introduction of a quality management system to DIN EN ISO 9001 2000 Transfer of the smoke house division to VEMAG ANLAGENBAU GMBH as an independent company 2001 Shareholder conditions restructured and takeover of VEMAG ANLAGENBAU GMBH by the Krüger family 2002 VEMAG Australia Pty Ltd. set up in Brisbane as a sales and service company for Australia and New Zealand 2004 VEMAG Turkey Ltd. set up in Istanbul as a sales and service company for Turkey 2006 Takeover of know-how "Baader systems" of Heinen Systems GmbH 2007 Completion of building measures (store and dispatch house, technical centre for research and development, refurbishment and extension of our offices)Development and sale of innovative air distribution systems in the climatic maturing technology sector, with the CLIMAMAT STAR Twin and CLIMAMAT LAGER tube system 2007-2009 Extensive investment in the most advanced production methods for forming, joining and surface treatment 2009 Development and sale of the innovative AEROMAT VARIO PF system for the continuous production of boiled sausage 2010 Development and sale of the new H501/E friction smoke generator and the new H 507/D steam smoke generator. 2012 Entry in the bakery market with the CLIMAMAT® LAGER COOL for cooling down of bread 2013 Modernisation of IT infrastructure and implementation of a new ERP-System Installation of a fully automatic laser cutting machine including automated material feed 2014 Entry in the pet food market with the AEROMAT for drying dog snacks 2015 Implementation of a new 3D CAD / PDM system 2016 Construction of a new head office including customer center in Verden
